They had a special on and a week before the flight their fare was better than Jetstars for the flight to Darwin. We did the Webcheckin and on arrival at Changi quite a few hours before the flight departed they were open and we could check in.

The FAs were good with a genuine smile and their service was better than our previous flight on Malaysia Airlines. They came around often with drinks and the meal offered was quite good. Seats were the standard as on most economy flights.

The flight departed on time and so was arrival give or take a few minutes. Customs and Immigration at Darwin proceeded smoothly though we had some food items to declare, but it was no problem. They now have one flight during the day which may be a good option if travelling beyond Singapore as Jetstar arrives a little late to connect with many overseas flights. Generally Silk Air prices are considerably higher than Jetstar’s which do fluctuate widely.
