You have reminded me of a flight I wanted to take some years ago (I was overruled by Senior Management). I believe that in those days the flight – between Gibraltar and Tangier – held the record for the shortest intercontinental flight, lasting about 15 minutes

Dammam in KSA (DMM) to BAH on a day where runways and winds align is a hoot.

My ‘record’ was 13 minutes in an A320 that never got above 6,000 feet.

I did the Gib/Tangier run many times, it was on a Gibair Viscount, with those big picture windows the view of the Rock on approach was amazing!
