    (Kirkwell-) Papa Westray dep:15.21hrs. – Westray arr:15.23hrs. (- Kirkwell)

    Price: GBP17 single, GBP21 return , Children(2-16) and Senior Citizens(60+) half price.
No mention of taxes, fuel surcharges or lounge access. No interlining at Kirkwell. baggage limit 15 kilos. Other conditions also apply

You have reminded me of a flight I wanted to take some years ago (I was overruled by Senior Management). I believe that in those days the flight – between Gibraltar and Tangier – held the record for the shortest intercontinental flight, lasting about 15 minutes

Another great treat which one should try if in the area…

Inveran to the Arran Islands on Aer Arran in Co Galway Ireland

Probably about 6-8 mins in the air

One of my most memorable flights [that and Concorde!]

Dammam in KSA (DMM) to BAH on a day where runways and winds align is a hoot.

My ‘record’ was 13 minutes in an A320 that never got above 6,000 feet.

I did the Gib/Tangier run many times, it was on a Gibair Viscount, with those big picture windows the view of the Rock on approach was amazing!

This is a noted on the DT interesting info about airports here

    along with a few others.
