I recently visited a colleague staying at the above hotel, stayed a couple of hours and then took him to the airport. I parked at the back of the hotel, the parking barrier was open and an attendant showed me where to park and confirmed it was ok for me to stay for a couple of hours.

Today I have received a Parking Charge Notice for £100.

Has anyone else been caught by this…?

Update – I spoke to the hotel and as a gesture, the PCN has now been cancelled and they have already confirmed this via email.

    Lesson learned…
