Hi PatJordan – we’ve included details in this piece:

Ryanair adds 48-hour grace period for changes

Sounds like a good idea – even if another airline had it first 🙂

As an early user of Ryanair back in the 1980s, I remember the FF programme in place then. So what does round, comes round…. I seem to remember that it was quite generous at the time (on a very limited set of routes including their HS 748 on the Dublin – Luton route). They were a different airline then – I remember being stuck at Luton because the 748 could not cope with the fog and Ryanair paid for my taxi to Heathrow and an Aer Lingus ticket back to Dublin. Might find it difficult to extract that sort of service today!!

When I read the headline “Ryanair to launch Frequent Flyer programme!” I thought to myself, ahhhh, a chance to be rewarded for loyalty . ……Silly Billy Me !!!

Just another daft revenue raising scheme …..

Having said that booking through Ryanair Hotels isn’t a bad shout if you want future discounted flights !!
