Ryanair Baggage changes

    Like most things that Ryanair do, it makes commercial sense.

    For those that don’t like it, there are alternatives. Makes no difference to me as I won’t use the airline, but if I did, I’d see this as a positive and smart move.

    Next they’ll charge to put that carry-on into the hold!
    However, increasing the weight and reducing the charge may see more people checking in a bag so instead of costing them £50m annually they may even see an increase in revenue.

    As someone who uses Frightenscare reasonably regularly, next trip is EDI to Vigo in a couple of weeks’ time I welcome the changes.
    Not wanting to start up the whole “My god, they’ve brought the kitchen sink with them too “argument, simply put, I can think of other airlines that could learn from them!

    Strange Ryan have missed an opportunity by not charging for all hand baggage. Makes perfect sense and I wish BA woukd follow….
