Good afternoon all,

I’m about to book a trip to Amman (first time) and would like some advice on flights.

Firstly, I have to fly in economy on this one (travel policy – anything less than 8 hours blah, blah, blah).

I am keen to stick with One World, i.e. Royal Jordanian, but only if it is seriously worth it for the 30 tier points I will earn, lounge access etc

I am also a DC member, but without lounge privilages.

From what I can see, the BMI flight operates at a better time and also offers personal in-flight entertainment, rather than the general screen showing a Rom-Com and then a powerboating documentary which seems to be on offer with RJ. Is this the case?

Any experiences with either carrier on this route would be appreciated.

What happened to the BA code share? I thought you could fly BMI and get your tier points…
