    HI ALL,

I wanted to fly Manchester to Dublin on Air Lingus , I was told by someone that I could use British Airways Avios miles for redemption free flights on Air Lingus . I tried on ba.com but did not work is this possible?

I think you need to go to avios.com to book reward flights.

However the normal fares are quite keen, so it might be worth checking that too.

If you have time to spare you can book MAN-LHR-DUB on BA.com for £75 return, using 14,000 Avios. On this fare you receive more replacement Avios, and Tier Points. Of course, on a BA ticket, and Gold or Silver, you can use the lounges, and make a day of it. Just a thought!

The last time I flew Aer Lingus only Golds were allowed lounge access unless being a BA code share makes a difference?

@SGJN The flights I suggested were all BA…nothing to do with EI!! So no probs with lounge access on all four sectors, Silver or Gold.
