A question about lounge etiquette..

I am sat in the OneWorld F lounge in FRA (T2). There is a mediocre offering of wine and whisky.

However, on the top shelf of the drinks display cabinet, out of reach without standing on a chair, there is a bottle of 18 year old “Label 5” whisky.

The question is…

Do I ask or do I just reach up and open it…?

Well as Germans tend to be very tall, it’s probably put out in their reach.

The bottle of Whisky is for decoration purposes only!!

Which lounge are you in Martyn? Is it the JAL one with the little First Class area open for a few hours each eve?

Have to say I was rather underwhelmed by that lounge.

Not exactly a haven of calm & tranquility.

It’s never been open when i’ve passed through FRA (typically mid morning). I prefer the CX lounge to the JL J class lounge though.
