From 2nd Sept QR and BA will enter into a frequent flyerclub partnership and will earn Q miles on all qualifying BA flights.

From 1st October you will be able to redeem Q miles for award tickets on all BA flights.

just got the mails thru for that. Handy as the other half has QR but no BA, we are flying BA in October so she can load her BA points onto her QR card.

I assume it works the other way too

No you wont be able to transfer, just use them on for BA flights

Also – looks like you can’t earn tier points until Qatar officially become members of Oneworld, which will be sometime in October.
