Qantas have opened a new lounge in Hong Kong replacing hopefully the disgraceful facility that currently exists. Will BA PAX be allowed to use this one as they normally share the existing one – if so it will be good news for business PAX exiting HKG on the 2 747’s that depart every evening.

Any one in Hkg with a One World silver or above should just use the Cathay lounge.

unfortunately even CX lounge in HK is quite full sometime since there are so many Asiamiles/Marco Polo member already….with other OneWorld members, they would need to expand even more.

It is a matter of personal preference. Even if flying CX back to Europe I choose the Qantas / BA lounge, as I prefer the sandwiches and the ability to mix my own drink. Yes, the lounge is dated, but so is The Wing. It is a little like adjusting your body to the next destination.
