If I book business class sectors on Philippine Airlines and I’m not a member of Mabuhay Miles does anyone know if miles can be accrued into another airline FF program?

They have some code sharing with other airlines which is very sector specific but as PAL is not part of the 3 large alliances it looks like it’s not possible to put accrued miles into another airline program unless you follow the highly restricted by sector code sharing sectors.

We have family in the Philippines and I had cause to look at this a few months back

It looks to be totaly impossible to transfer your points to another airline program.
