    Being desperate for customers, Scandinavian Airlines now offer upgrade for a fee through a partner:

    https://www.optiontown.com:443/Worldwide_Sites.do

    You can now upgrade from for instance Economy Extra to Business for a nominal fee (relatively speaking).

    Only on intercontiental flights, of which they are getting fewer and fewer, so I figure this is too late.
