Passengers ‘avoid transferring at Heathrow’

    Being based in the Midlands I will happily go from BHX or MAN and use AMS for long haul flights. Intra europe I would never consider Heathrow

    for me to reach Heathrow by public transport means 2 changes of train

    by road the journey has taken me between 2 and 4 hours depending on the vagaries of the M25

    Increasingly Heathrow is alienating passengers north of the M25 due to the access issue and any increase in passenger numbers is going to make the situation worse unless investment is made in public transport.

    As far as I am concerned the only time I will be using BA now is in burning airmiles accrued from the old BMI Diamond Club program.
