Anyone can share how this works? Is there a particular type of OS needed for the tablet?

It’s sent as an MMS to your phone and it’s then scanned at each relevant check point. I’ve tried it but found it a bit fiddly. You have the message ready as you queue, then the inevitable phone or SMS comes in which means you’ve got to fiddle around to find it again with an impatient crowd gathering behind you and a bemused official glaring at you.

Have given up and gone back to paper!

What i am looking at is in a form of a tablet. where the guest can sign on it as a acknowledgement.

Just like what kerry hotel in shanghai did:

All reservation details will be displayed on a tablet, which the guest will sign on – using a stylus pen – to check-in. When checking out, the guest will sign on the same tablet to finalise all the charges, with receipts immediately emailed to a chosen address.
