After Recently traveling on Cathay on quiet a few flights. I got a feel of the fear of expression emerging among cathay employees. Below is the fundamental expression of a cathay employee, Just thought I would share this with fellow travellers and see what they have seen through their eyes.

“Freedom of expression, and opinions, and freedom of speech, that’s how my family raised me up to be. “I am a person, in addition to an employee, so I just think that you might be able to silence us inside a company, but then you cannot just change our mind.”

CNN must be getting desperate to recycle this story from months ago, complete with their usual panting porno prose.

“During the week, Ricky pilots passenger jets traveling around the world for one of Hong Kong’s flagship airlines, Cathay Pacific. But when the weekend arrives, he sheds his pilot cap and blazer in exchange for a face mask and helmet …”

So. Ricky flies round the world from Monday to Friday, and always arrives home in time for the weekend – long haul pilots being renowned for having Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 jobs? That must explain why I can never get a flight that impinges on a weekend. NOT!

“ONE of Hong Kong’s flagship airlines” – aside from the fact the ‘flagship’ usually denotes a single item, how many flagship airlines does CNN think Hong Kong has?

Sloppy, dangerous journalism.
