No availability out of BEY

    End of the summer… there are just no seats out of Beirut. It happens every year. I do not understand why some of the airlines don’t either increase capacity or add bigger planes for the 2weeks or so as this happens every year. Example… need to go to Beirut next weekend… then need to go to London – seemingly impossible. There are just no seats. So frustrating. BEY bound tomorrow and thankfully this was booked weeks ago, as both outbound and inbound sold out – but now need to book a lastminute trip next weekend – it looks like business via Cairo to London. DRY. So not conducive for much needed business and investment in lebanon…

    I doubt there are many airlines that just have spare or bigger planes sitting around. Maybe some of the Gulf airlines, but for the likes of BA I thought they were pretty much at capacity on aircraft and crews.
