I have just noticed this announcement on the EasyJet website about their plans to install Recaro seats on all their planes.

EasyJet are my main airline from Bristol. I like them as an airline but I do find their seat pitch too small to justify them on longer flights. It would be great to hear feedback from other Easyjet travellers as to whether these new seats provide kore leg room. According to the release some planes have already been fitted with these seats.

Someone will correct me (maybe Alex from BT), but weren’t the newer BA ‘SpaceSaver’ seats put on the more recently delivered A320/A319s the same Recaro seats and met with almost universal disapproval?

I may well be wrong – apologies if my wires are confused.

I didn’t think you had missed it but I couldn’t find the article.

Interested to hear people’s feedback though. I have to go to Turkey later this year and normally I would not consider EasyJet for that distance but if these seats improve the leg room then I would consider them.
