New Aer Lingus livery and brand identityBack to Forum

Technically the big reveal was done weeks ago on airliners.net !
A nice fresh look but far too much Euro White.
It would have been nice to see larger billboard style Aer Lingus titles.
Also the tail area and engine could have had Irish Triskells – a little like Aer Arran used to have.
All in all a nice new look but could be improved.17 Jan 2019
The livery change and rebranding are of no great importance, but the expansion and improvements are.
Superb airline and may they go from strength to strength, or as the Irish say :
“May the road rise up to meet you.”
I used the new app for the first time this morning. It’s clear, looks good, all my data has been transferred across and it works well.
They may be part of IAG but they clearly don’t use the same app designers as BA whose equivalent is a bad joke.
Well done, Aer Lingus.18 Jan 2019
An extremely disappointing new look. Ireland is often known and referred to as the ‘Green Emerald Isle’ and previous liveries have always had much green. The airline used to have a superb livery in the sixties which gave the airline a very distinct look especially when all the ramp equipment was also in the same livery. There is an excellent photograph showing this co-ordinated look here:
Those were the days!
p.s. apologies – I can’t seem to get the uplifted….18 Jan 2019
lazy, Lazy, Lazy ……
I’m assuming somewhere in the aircraft livery spray painting world there is a glut of white paint.
gave the airline a very distinct look
Aer Lingus now joins a myriad of boring airlines who all have the same look ….waste of money in my opinion
Bring back the days ……Even from this height you knew what airline it was !!
