As from tomorrow, one of the rail operators “operating” through Gatwick has announced another series of work-to-rules by drivers and other staff. They expect many trains on the Victoria to South Coast to be cancelled and a restricted service on the Gatwick Express. These disputes have been going on for over a year … airline passengers and commuters have suffered from appalling service. The next series of strikes are open-ended.
Better to avoid Gatwick, if you need to use the trains!

Sod’s law as I’ve just arranged to go down to Brighton tomorrow for lunch with friends. Usually go via Gatwick as I hate Crapham Junction.

@capetonianm You will be ok as the Thameslink services from London Bridge to Brighton via LGW are supposed to be operating normally. It’s the Southern Railway trains that are affected. Enjoy Brighton.
