Missed the last tube from T5 as the flight was a few minutes late and the baggage then took another 80 minutes – so I ended up going home on a night bus!

It seems that lots of flights were delayed on Sunday due to the weather but the staff still went home at the normal time, hence almost no one to unload the late arrivals – a poor show from the airport, is BA likely to offer any compensation, eg miles?

They might if you write and complain and explain you had difficulty getting home. They may give you a few Avios.

Delayed BA flight from BGO-LHR and missed the last Hotel Hoppa to Hilton T5.

Was supposed to pay a £60 rebooking fee for my flight the next day, but was avoided when I came to ticket counter at T5 and explained the previous day’s predicament.
