    Best points as far as I’m concerned are one way tickets at just half the miles.

    Then if you hit Senator level, it’s spouse tickets at just 50% of your miles.

    For a small premium in miles, when all other upgrade/mileage tickets are gone, you can still get a seat for miles even if it’s the last one left on the plane.
