This was a FRA-BEY hop, 3 hours 30 minutes, in a 320, with proper business class seats.

Boarding at Frankfurt was orderly and I was shown to my seat by the cabin crew, offered a pre-flight drink and had my after departure drinks order taken.

The aperitif service had a fully stocked bar and was served with nuts. A hot towel service came before lunch, which was tasty and in good quantities – I selected a chicken dish. Champagne flowed liberally with dinner.

The IFE was good and I watched ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo”, before listening to a little music.

Transit in BEY was rapid and I was on my next flight less than an hour after landing.

All in all, a very pleasant flight with excellent service.
