What does this mean?
Maybe one of those new-fangled hi-tec phones that communicates via smoke signals? 😉

I believe it was slightly on fire and ended up in a bucket of water…
They caught you making a sly call whilst flying ST….. ?
It does sound bizarre to say the least
If you are staying at the Hilton ( I have not stayed there I am a SPG junkie so stay at the Le Meridien) you have to go to the Japanese Restaurant by the pool, first class fayre if not a little pricey….

Normally use the Renaissance. Always been given a suite despite booking the cheapest room although on this occasion, there was a lot of building noise going on throughout the day on the floor above me. In the end I had to complain because it was way too loud to get any work done.
The duty Manager responded by stopping the work, discounting my stay by 20% and I didn’t have to pay for laundry.
The response was good enough for me that I will stay again.

ST you have to say that is excellent service by any standard and I too would stay there again on that basis …..
