Be aware that because of lightning strikes there is major disruption on the ECML (East Coast Mainline) today.

LNER has tweeted to say that although some Leeds-London trains have begun to operate the through line linking England with Scotland is currently closed in Doncaster/York area owing to lightning strikes which have knocked out the signalling systems.

Buses are now ferrying passengers between Doncaster and Darlington
