These are excellent fares particularly when you see the long travel period and from LHR. The HKG fare at £1700 is almost half BA.

My one concern is that they do not discount child fares and consequently they pay the same as adults including £521 in fees and APD.

Non-the-less this still produces a fare of £7128 against BA at £11484.

Cathay on same dates is £11370 but they do discount children. This fare is restricted, ( as are all the fares noted here) but then you do get the equivalent of BA First when flying CX business.

From the EU you can undercut even the LH fares on BA and both RJ and AY are offering fares of under £1500 return with RJ also delivering double the tier points for a trip to HKG that BA would generate.
