Dear all,

Perhaps to align to the new “global reality” LH will “conform” to the new standards of baggage weight for travel to/from US/Canada for tickets issued from 01.01.2010. Y-class cabin passengers will be left with one 23kg bag for free (plus one ski bag), the second bag is now fee based. Premium classes, M&M Hon, Sen and FF card holders are exempt alongside Star Gold holders from other programmes.

The piece concept is now very confusing with “special” considerations for travel to certain African destinations and Brazil.

Personally, I actually welcome the “pay for use” concept rather than the old “all inclusive” ticket for economy class travel.
