I took the B747-8 from Frankfurt to Bangalore (and way back) with great expectation, ’cause I heard a lot of good things about this airplane. But unfortunately the economy class is such a terrible place where to travel.
People is litterally packed in the fuselage, sleeping is impossilbe if you are not seated close to the corridor, ’cause the seats are damn small. Food is average (but nothing really special… typical german food…). I had cold air on my neck for 11 hours, without the possibility to adjust the air flow, with the result that I got sick. The in-seat display is ok, but few choices of music and movies (nothing compared to Emirates). Mine got crashed one hour before landing and it was impossible to restore the fuctionality. The seats still have the 2-holes connector, so you cannot use your headphone unless you dont’ have an adaptor.
