Lotus Dial a Flight

    Has anyone used Dial a flight recently?

    I have used them in the past and was reasonably happy. I used them again recently and they really went to town on the booking.

    The price was about the same as I could get online with Expedia or one of those guys but for your money you get so much more. The guy I deal with, Joe I think his name was booked my seats when normally you have to wait until 24 hours before. He booked some assistance at the Airport for my disabled colleague, all our meals. He took care of BA cards and logged the numbers. Saved me so much time.

    I needed a date change on our return leg, I called about a month after the booking, and he dealt with it in seconds! No charge was made and I got the update on email straight away.

    2 days before I am due to fly, I get a call from them. The first thing I thought was “here we go – to good to be true” but it was the guy I dealt with checking I had all my emails and paperwork and wishing me a good trip.

    Service like this is so very rare these days, what a credit to the travel industry they are. Credit where credit is due!


    Pickles, you were lucky! These guys are usually just sharp-talking shysters looking to close the deal! How do I know?I turned down their offer of a job precisely becasue of their ‘salesy’ attitude to clients.


    I used Dial a Flight recently for a couple of flights to Miami and they also booked my hotel and I was really impressed.

    They did everything they said they would and the prices were much lower than we were quoted by our company travel agency.
    I agree they are salesy but they are not pushy and they do seem to know what they are talking about.

    I was told about them by a friend whose firm has just moved all their travel business to them to save costs..


    Airpocket, I would have to disagree with your comment. I have used Dial a Flight for 5 years now and they have never failed me. I use a chap called Adam, he has given me his personal number so if ever I have any problems he is always a phone call away.

    I have also recommended many of my associates to him and he and his team has made them feel so comfortable with what is normally an expensive and stressful procedure that they continually book with him.

    I must admit he did come across as slightly pushy the first time I used him,but I then discovered the questions he was asking really were relevant to ensuring I get what I want/ need.
