Flights between London City and Jersey in the Chanel Islands are due to start again on 18th April 2011 by Blue Islands. Week days there will be a twice daily service allowing for day trips in both directions.

To leisure travellers the fares will seem a bit high. But for business travellers who required flexibility then even the lowest fares allow free ticket changes, no baggage charges and no card charges, That will certainly puts the two operators between Gatwick and Jersey to shame.

Blue Islands are an amazing airline. I used them a lot when living in Jersey to fly inter island as they did not do international or mainland destinations then. Reservations, check in staff, cabin crew all outstanding.
