Scottish carrier Loganair has released its first ever Christmas ad, featuring the airline’s married pilot and in-flight trainer Captain Lionel McClean and wife Linda, who met at work 14 years ago.

The campaign can be seen here:

But what’s the best airline advert ever? BA’s Bringing People Together? United’s Nancy campaign? Virgin’s 2010 ad backed by Muse’s cover of Feeling Good?

The late, great Peter Sellars adverts for TWA back in the 70’s.
The Italian character just shading the Scottish one!

Must be a toss up between the Caledonian Girls and any advert with Delibes Flower Duet from Lakmé as its soundtrack ….

That’s lovely a but I hope if Logan follow this Forum can I appeal for the reinstatement of the Norwich to Manchester route. A lifeline for Norfolk. As we can now go east thanks to Aer Lingus Man to New York route. We are so tied to Amsterdam as the only place to get long-haul connections now.

Joan Collins and Leonard Rossiter, hands down.

BA 1980’s face ad rates as one I found particularly powerful. Their ads like their products have however gone to pot since.

This was one of my favourites from Ansett Airlines in Australia.
