Last year we flew with jet2 from manchester to ibiza.

Row 1 was obviously emergency exit seats (which we cant book due to having a young child travelling with us)

But rows 2,3,4,5,6,7 we are all extra leg room, which we paid extra for, booked, and enjoyed – there was a LOT more space.

This year I have been told by Jet2 that all of the seats are now standard, with the only bookable extra leg room being the emergency exit seats. Please can anyone advise why this may be? and also if there is any more room in the front of the plane? x

It may depends on the type of plane you flew.

Which exact type did you take from Manchester to Ibiza last year ?

Which plane type is scheduled to operate the same flight this year ?

Perhaps they were not selling well. Try Monarch as they offer the extra leg room for about GBP 12 each way. Well worth it as you get a seat pitch of 34″ instead of a very tight 29″. I don´t know who said size doesn´t matter but an extra 5 inches makes a hell of a difference!!

Have you had a look at Thomson Fly or Thomas Cook ? I think they have extra leg room seats.

Sadly most of the low cost or charter airlines will be a bit naff
