An interesting set of special flights seems to be being planned by Jet2 from Leeds and Newcastle for Christmas shopping trips to New York.

Two services from each of the airports to Newark for about £300 rtn.

Quite a stretch for their 737s, but probably manageable for one of their 10 235 seat 757-200s.

Handy for those in the North, and probably a nice change from sitting in watching Corry on a Friday night munching on Fish n’ Chips..

They did a similar thing with a one of their 757s last Christmas. Was comparatively expensive though and you had to buy a package including hotel IIRC
