So an Easyjet departure was delayed and some passengers had to be accommodated over the border in Spain. In the process putting themselves into 2 weeks isolation on return to London.

According to Easyjet they booked all available rooms in Gib, although interestingly some people were able to source their own accommodation…..

Quite a few of those passengers would have initially come from Spain anyway. I don’t believe the whole flight were all Gibraltar based.
I fly this route all the time. There are quite a few travelling from Spain and then lying on their track and trace form.
The hotels in Gibraltar I believe have been quite busy due to Gibraltar being on quarantine exemption
