After the demise of Mexicana the rapidly growing Mexican market of 110 million souls has been underserved by oneworld. Now is the chance to increase penetration with Interjet serving 47 destinations on 60 routes.

The most important sentence, in the article, is perhaps the last.
“For passengers’ additional comfort, the airline removed 30 seats from the original configuration of the Airbus A320s, leaving them with just 150 seats, while the number of Superjet 100 seats was reduced from 103 to 93 for added room and comfort.”

This could well be an interesting addition for oneworld carriers. Will BA join its IAG partner in signing a codeshare also?
