Hi all,

The front page piece of Time may be of interest to some. The writer goes behind the scenes at American Airlines operation control centre and the article focuses on a computer system called ‘the cancellator’ (a programme that helps decide which flights to cancel in IRROPs).

It’s a really interesting four page spread that gives an in depth insight to some of the (not always obvious) factors that go into deciding which flights to cancel and which to keep running.
