….who pays for my flight cancellation or will the UK government instruct airlines to give full refunds?

It is looking as if the UK government will instruct all people with any cold symptoms to take 7 days self-isolation in the next few days. This could mean having to cancel or delay travel. There could be major cost implications for this. If there is no clear mandate then people will still travel.

Just read that where the airline has cancelled a flight, no refund will be given! Is this true? If so it’s certainly bit correct.

    Sounds doubtful to me.

Why are you travelling if you have a cold?Don’t you know you could do serious damage to your ear canals?

Sorry, seems it was fake news. Glad about that as it would have been wrong not to refund.
