There was some speculation that Iberia’s confirmed May 2010 order for five A320 options might end up in BA colours.

This now appears to have been confirmed by Iberia, though the remaining 25 confirmed orders will most likely remain in Iberia colours.

These five could either be used to bolster the somewhat old fleet of BA 737s at Gatwick, increase the pace of replenishment at LHR or of more interest could herald a new brace of A318 jets for the Club World London City services, possibly opening up Washington or more likely Boston as the second destination for the 32 seat all business class service.
