Am considering a long haul flight with IB but the route is served with an A319. BA’s website shows me a decent long haul business class seat for this leg. But seatguru.com indicates a 3+3 seat configuration in business class (i.e. these can only be “European style seats”). What to believe? Do IB fly A319s with long haul seat configuration?
    Thanks

Swissdiver – You didn’t say which route you were flying.

But the layout on seatplans.com shows 2-2 biz class seating.

The seats are wider and look as though they’re intended for medium distance routes.

    Sorry, MAD-LOS.
    Thanks.
2+2 is not guaranteeing a decent seat for long haul flights though. Look at BA or LH European business class seats for instance.

The J seats on this aircraft are for medium haul routes and they are 2-2. IB use them on Tel Aviv, Malabo etc. They look very comfortable and you should have good flight, you might even get some friendly IB crew!!

Thanks. Actually, I’ve just found this: http://www.businesstraveller.com/news/iberia-revamps-mid-haul-business-class-product… So nice for a day flight, not that nice for a night flight…
My problem is a price one, for the client. I’d rather fly on a BA B747! But on my travel days, it is clearly more expensive…
