24 hours would be excessive in some parts of the world. I remember visiting the Gulf in the oil boom days when occupancy was 100%.
I say that because rooms were in constant use with sometimes two sets of guests occupying a room during a 24-hour period.
As for tea & coffee facilities I was thinking more of the utensils than the tray itself.
So far I haven’t encountered a hotel where they are pre-wrapped but there must be exceptions.
I have wondered previously about the cleanliness as I have seem room-service staff washing the utensils in the bathroom sink (although again there must be exceptions).
