Typically Dutch really, that lovely straightforward and honest approach, one of the many reasons I enjoy flying KLM and visiting the Netherlands. I suppose it’s a problem they encounter quite often as the Dutch are (supposedly) the tallest people in the world.
3 into 2 is quite feasible. I remember well some years ago being on a BA short haul flight in CE when the cabin manager came from the front with what looked like a wheel wrench and proceeded to extend CE by one row by connecting said handle into the aisle seats either side and winding the centre seats partially closed.
The curtain was then re-attached to suit.
