Thanks Continental. That’s very useful. I was wondering where to stay on my cheap Business Class trip to Singapore with Lufthansa (was that tip also from you?) and I see Hilton is making the offer in Malaysia as well, so that should help me keep my HH silver status and save me some bucks as well. Hi CC,

Just looked at this deal for my forthcoming stay in Dubrovnik (thought it might’ve been worth changing the existing booking!). The rate offered under this plan was almost identical to the normal fully flexible rate I booked earlier in the week, and yet it is non-refundable (unless one pays even more!).

Methinks Hilton speak with forked tongue over this offer!

Last summer, they offered a 50% discount, (actually a strict 2 for 1 offer) which was not advanced purchase (at least I’m pretty sure it wasn’t). I rebooked, using the discounted summer rate, a month-long trip to the Conrad Bangkok and Hiltons in KL, Kuching and Batang Ai and saved an absolute fortune. Alas, this year they are not so open handed!
