Hilton Mobile APP – Beware when booking

    Used the app a few times to book rooms in the UK & USA.

    The latest update however, appears to have some serious flaws. For example;
    I booked a room in Newcastle, clicking on a rate described as ‘Summer offer’ (or something similar).
    At no time during the browsing and booking phases did it state that this rate was a pre-paid non changeable rate. Even the booking confirmation failed to notify me.

    It was only when I went into my Hhonors account on my PC, with a view to making a reservation change, did it state the ‘rate rules’.

    Beware or you could quickly find yourself out of pocket.


    Thanks and good to know, though I rarely use Apps to book but prefer the full site. I’ve often found the App gives a higher price than a normal website.
