A slightly odd promotion from Hilton, billed as 20% off best available rate for two night weekend stays paid for with an American Express card.

The oddity is that at least some hotels (city, not resort) have the rate loaded for weekdays too:

Best Weekend Ever Terms and Conditions

A valid American Express® Card must be verified at check-in and used to pay for the entire stay. Offer is available at participating Hilton hotels and is subject to availability. Stay must be booked between August 15 and December 30, 2010, and completed by December 31, 2010. Must use Plan Code PBAMX1 when making reservation. Minimum two (2) night weekend stay required. Weekend nights include Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The 20% discount relates to the hotel’s Best Available Rate (“BAR”), which is a specific rate type that varies depending on time of purchase, is unrestricted, non-qualified and excludes discount rates or negotiated rates not available to the general public, including, but not limited to: membership, corporate, government, promotional, group, packages, unpublished or rates only available on auction websites. Blackout dates may apply and vary by participating hotel. Offer cannot be combined with any other promotions. Group reservations excluded.
