I may have missed a post on this (if so apologies!!).

I am due to fly to JNB from T5 on Saturday 27th (second day of the planned strike). HAL claim that the Airport will operate.

Is there anything concrete out there on prospects of getting away that day?

Hi TominScotland – the strikes proposed for this weekend have now been postponed.

Thanks Mark. We are also flying to JNB on Saturday, so pleased this time, but…..assume F Wing check in, security etc would be inoperative on strike days? I have several flights booked on the next few months, so have a vested interest!

I see that BA have appealed the High Court ruling and at least 2 weeks before the appeal hearing.
As on the face of it BA dont have winnable a case it seems that they are stalling for time……. perhaps to get the August holiday rush away ?
