Alastair Dalton of The Scotsman has produced a map showing Glasgow road closures during COP26.

The event runs from October 31 to November 12.

At time of writing the Scotrail strike action is scheduled to go ahead.

Just wanted to remind everyone that the Scotrail strike remains a threat if visiting Scotland during this time.

The congestion and disrution in Glasgow for COP 26 is both expected and understandable.

Less so is the issues around Hertz at Glasgow airport being closed at weekends and basically operating 9-5 Monday to Friday. They seem to be the only cr hire company with this issue, all the other seem to be operating normally.

Its almost £40 to get an out of hours pick up ( 10 am Saturday morning) which is scandalous.

The disappointment among some that the rail strike was settled is really rather amusing!

It seems all Inter City trains out of London Euston have been at a standstill most of today due to weather (the irony) so a lot of the flunkeys are stranded en-route.
