Hopefully an easy one to answer!

Travelling to Malaga on Friday from Manchester on BA, however, it is a Cityflyer service- does anybody know whether the 32kg weight ‘benefit’ from being a gold card holder will definitely apply? My documents are saying 23kg but when I called BA they said 32…..

The website says 32 for GCH, for “British Airways, OpenSkies and BA CityFlyer flights”

The info you need can be found on this page

    https://www.britishairways.com/en-gb/information/baggage-essentials/checked-baggage-allowances#extra

Firstly, look under the heading British Airways, OpenSkies and BA CityFlyer flights

These flights have the same baggage allowances.

Then expand Extra allowances for Executive Club and oneworld Members and you will find

Silver and Gold Executive Club Members and equivalent members in other oneworld frequent flyer programmes get additional baggage allowances.

    Tier Baggage allowance

    Gold/oneworld

    Emerald

One additional checked bag in any travel class

For everyone in your booking, except on hand baggage only (Basic) fares*

A weight allowance of 32kg (70lb) per checked bag

    Silver/oneworld

    Sapphire

A checked baggage allowance of two bags when travelling in economy

For everyone in your booking, except on hand baggage only (Basic) fares*

A weight allowance of 32kg (70lb) per checked bag

*You must be travelling on the booking for these benefits to apply. They apply to British Airways flights only and are not available to infant Members who are travelling without their own seat. Not available on group rate bookings.
Allowances when flying in different travel classes
    Flights in different cabins

    Have a good flight.
