Mark CaswellKeymasterWe’ve received the following from Stansted airport:
“Marathon runners competing in this year’s Virgin Money London Marathon will be offered the chance to sprint through security and claim free FastTrack and Escape Lounge access* at London Stansted Airport.
“The 39th edition of one of the world’s most iconic sporting events is scheduled to take place around the streets of London on Sunday 28th April 2019 and to celebrate the achievements of runners completing the gruelling endurance race, London Stansted is offering a generous package of free FastTrack and Escape Lounge access for any runners flying from the airport after the event.
“In order to redeem the offer, successful London Marathon race finishers will need to present their medal at the dedicated FastTrack lane between Sunday 28th April – Tuesday 30th April where they will be able to take advantage of a shorter wait at security.
“As part of the package, runners will also be able to enjoy a selection of hot and cold food as well as a wide range of drinks at the Escape Lounge*. Visitors to the lounge can also take advantage of free Wi-Fi, charging points, TVs and newspapers to browse through.
“Lois Robertson, Brand and Marketing Manager at London Stansted Airport comments: “The London Marathon is one of the toughest endurance races in the world and runners across the UK and from around the world come to the capital each year to take part. We want to celebrate the achievements of all the runners that crossed the line and reward them with a winning package of free FastTrack and Escape Lounge access so that they can enjoy a relaxing experience at the airport and fully unwind before they take off on their journey.“
