    As mentioned on this thread

    Interesting presentation from Alex Cruz….

Alex Cruz spoke at the UK-Israel Business Forum this morning.

As detailed on FlyerTalk, Cruz said that the First Wing will be rolled out to Terminal 3 and JFK.

At the top end, BA is also ordering more Jaguars for tight connections (there are 6 at present, apparently).

    All CEOs are good talkers.

    Some can deliver.

    Can Cruz?

Cant see that happening as this contract was only signed in Sept 2017

SPIE UK has been awarded a £745,000 contract at London Heathrow which will put the finishing touches to an Integrated Baggage Building linking Terminals 3 and 5.
The specialist contractor will provide a comprehensive package of lighting and small power improvements – in addition to a thorough heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and building management system (BMS) upgrade – at Heathrow’s brand new Hold Baggage Screening room.

Housed within the Terminal 3 Integrated Baggage Building, the new and improved facility will enable baggage screening operations from terminals 1 through 4 to take place in a single dedicated space.

I think it is linked to the ‘big plans’ mentioned here.

“Big plans” for British Airways check-in zone at Heathrow T3

But it’s hard to see how the First Wing could be replicated, with passengers able to check in and then via dedicated security walk straight into the lounge.
