I am currently driving a new Volvo XC60 (not entirely by choice but that doesn’t matter) with a touchscreen to control many of the ancillaries.
I have to touch it several times, fairly hard, to get it to respond, but the person I was with yesterday only had to put her finger briefly onto the panel for it to work.
I am unable to offer an explanation.
I used the BKK ones recently. One clever touch (no pun intended) – the people in front of me scanned French passports and the instructions came up on the screen in French: for me with a UK passport, they came up in English! Nice.
