I had a last minute trip down to Malaga this week for a dinner.

Outbound from MAN with EZY, flight was showing on time in the terminal until about an hour before scheduled departure time, when it slipped into a 1 hr 40 minute delay. I later discovered that this had been telegraphed several hours earlier but not well communicated.

Aircraft was clean and well maintained, crew relaxed and helpful throughout the flight. Overall, the onboard experience was totally fine.

Inbound on ZB, aircraft less fresh and crew, whilst very efficient, were not engaging with pax at all.

In comparing the two experiences, I would on this occassion mark EZY above ZB for the slightly more helpful crew, but would be perfectly happy to fly with either in the future.

On monday next week I fly to Rome for the first time on LS to join a cruise ship. Let’s see.
